Is Ways to Wellness open to the public?

A: Yes, anyone is welcome to use our services. You don’t have to be a HealthEast patient or a member of the Ways to Wellness fitness club to sign up for assessments, individual nutrition and life coaching, or group classes.

Q: Will my health insurance pay for Ways to Wellness?

A: We do not bill insurance companies for our services. We accept health care spending (HSA) and flexible spending account (FSA) credit cards, or we are happy to provide a certificate of completion and receipt if you would like to submit them to an FSA or other insurance-based wellness program.

Q: Where is Ways to Wellness located?

A: Woodwinds Health Campus in Woodbury is our main location: 1825 Woodwinds Drive, Woodbury, MN 55125. We also offer classes and coaching at our Stillwater Clinic and Midway campus in St. Paul. There are two additional employee locations at HealthEast St. John’s and Bethesda hospitals. 

Q: Can I try an 8 for $80 class without signing up for a series?

A: Yes, you can call Ways to Wellness in advance and ask if there’s room in the class you’re interested in trying. Our number is 651-232-1926. If there’s space, our drop-in fee is $15. We always recommend that you commit to the entire class series to get the most benefit.

Q: Can I go to any 8 for $80 class I want once I pay for series?

A: The "8 for $80" packages are class specific. Once enrolled, you cannot switch classes mid-series. Similarly, if you miss a class in the series you are enrolled in, you may not exchange it for a class in another series.

Q: When do packages expire?

A: Most of our packages expire 12 months from the date of purchase. Please check the expiration date of your package before purchasing.

Q: Can I get a refund for any unused visits?

A: No. Refunds are not available for any unused sessions or appointments.

Q: What is the cancellation policy?

A: We have a 24-hour advance-notice cancellation policy for most classes. Cooking classes, however, must be cancelled at least 1 week in advance. At Ways to Wellness, we call this our "accountability policy." We believe in the power of accountability and that adhering to scheduled session times is important. If you cannot physically make it in for your appointment, you can request a phone session instead.

Q: Can I bring my newborn or toddler with me to my appointments?

A: We recommend that you come to each of your appointments by yourself in order to gain the most benefit — and to be truly present. We do understand special circumstances may arise, and we’ll work with you the best we can.
