Our EMS Academy offers a variety of classes to enhance your skills for managing medical emergencies both out in and out of the hospital.
Our skilled EMS Academy instructors are experienced pre-hospital providers and will guide your education through lecture and hands-on scenarios. This preparation will help you become more competent and confident in the care you provide.
Courses are designed as continuing education for those who respond to emergencies on the job and others interested in EMS education.
For providers requiring additional resuscitation education.
For those providers with a strong working knowledge of ACLS, this course takes providers to the next level.
Would you know what to do in the first minutes after someone collapses in sudden cardiac arrest? We offer both healthcare provider CPR for organizations requiring certification (child care centers, clinics, etc.) and Hands-Only CPR for layperson community groups (offices, churches, schools, etc.).
This course delivers the national EMS educational standards adopted by the state of Minnesota for emergency medical technicians. Successful completion of the course and certification exams will prepare a student for employment as an entry level EMT on an ambulance, in the emergency department, or within security, law enforcement or the fire service.
This 20-hour course meets or exceeds the education content for the National Registry of EMTs NCCP national content for EMTs.
We can provide pre-hospital education and simulation experiences at your agency’s site using our mobile lab.
This 30-hour course meets or exceeds the education content for the National Registry of EMTs NCCP national content for paramedics.
