HealthEast Cancer Care

Our Approach

Cancer isn't just a medical condition. It's also a life-changing journey for many. From the moment of diagnosis, we are with you, offering expert medical care, understanding and support. At HealthEast Cancer Care, we stay on the leading edge, offering advanced options for diagnosis and treatment. Whether you need an initial diagnosis or a second opinion, we’re here to help.

New advances in technology give patients and doctors more ways to treat cancer. At HealthEast Cancer Care, you have access to these innovative treatment options:

  • The Edge – The latest innovation in radiation treatment technology. The Edge offers a higher level of precision and a new level of accuracy. Treatment time can be reduced by 50 percent, and dosages are lessened while protecting surrounding healthy tissue and reducing side effects.
  • CyberKnife system (for various tumor locations) – This safe, painless treatment uses targeted, precise doses of radiation to target tumors. It is FDA-approved to treat tumors throughout the body and can achieve an outcome like surgery without incisions. Our experienced team has performed more than 6,000 treatments in the past 10 years.
  • Robotic surgery (for prostate and lung cancer) - Allows doctors to perform surgery through small incisions, each about one inch in length.

Each plan is individually customized and uses the foundation of nationally-accepted treatment models. We offer a full team of support through treatment and beyond.
