Our adolescent after-school intensive outpatient program provides an integrated and evidence-based treatment process for adolescents who have a diagnosis of a mental illness and their caregivers. The treatment process focuses on understanding mental health disorders and how they impact self, family, and others. The program also helps adolescents and caregivers learn and practice coping strategies as part of education and treatment.
The adolescent after-school intensive outpatient program provides a structured curriculum including cognitive-behavioral and behavioral psychoeducation and therapy for both youth and caregivers. The program offers mental health assessment and treatment provided by psychiatrists, clinical social workers, and marriage and family therapists, along with other mental health professionals. Medication management is provided during the treatment, and treatment planning includes after-care planning and referrals for ongoing care.
