If your baby arrives early or need specialized care, our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is open around the clock. A team of highly trained nurses, neonatal nurse practitioners and physician assistants along with neonatologists from the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital equipped with state of the art technology can care for infants born prematurely.

What if you need special care for a high-risk pregnancy?

Are you experiencing complications in your pregnancy or are you at risk of experiencing a medically complicated pregnancy? Expecting multiple babies? Do you have a family history of birth defects or genetic conditions? Talk with your doctor about a referral to a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Center clinic. Specialists at Maternal-Fetal Medicine Centers provider care for pregnant women who are – or who have high risk of – experiencing a medically complicated pregnancy. We provide care at three metro-area locations in Burnsville, Edina and Minneapolis.
