Our top priority is to protect the health and safety of our patients. To prevent the spread of COVID-19 and the flu, we are currently implementing enhanced visitor restrictions and limiting visiting hours.
Fairview Northland Medical Center is dedicated to meeting the health care needs of our patients and their families and to making your stay with us as pleasant and as comfortable as possible.
In most cases, you may visit patients anytime; however the frequency and length of visiting hours vary according to patient needs. Between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., please use the Emergency Department entrance.
For your convenience, we offer Fairview Pharmacy right in the hospital. You can fill prescriptions, buy over-the-counter products and breast-feeding supplies.
It’s important to us that you have a positive hospital stay. If you have questions or concerns regarding your stay or on your rights as stated in the Patient Bill of Rights, please call the Patient Relations Department at 651-982-7851 or fill out the patient relations form. They can work with you to resolve the problem. You opinion helps us provide the best care possible.
To make sure there is effective communication with patients, we provide free interpreter services and communications aids. Inform staff of your need or call Language Services at 612-273-3780. For patients and/or their companions who are deaf or hard of hearing, we provider auxiliary aids and services for free in the following languages.
Preparing to go home may seem a long way off. But the reality is that time will pass quickly. Soon, you’ll be leaving the hospital and planning is an important part of your healing process. Our care team is here to help make this transition as smooth as possible. We encourage you to talk with your doctor and nurses, and to ask any questions, as they occur.
