About Us

Our Purpose

As a nonprofit organization, Fairview Foundation builds philanthropic partnerships to further Fairview’s mission to heal, discover and educate for longer, healthier lives. Donor gifts support Fairview's community hospitals and clinics across Minnesota, University of Minnesota Medical Center and University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital, and community health programs and outreach.

Fairview Foundation is not an external grant-making foundation. We raise funds specifically to enable the work of Fairview Health Services—supporting programs and services that have a direct, positive impact on the health and well-being of our communities. We are ethically and legally bound to use the funds we receive for the purposes for which they are solicited; therefore, we do not make grants to outside organizations or individuals.

In accordance with the Charities Review Council Standards, Fairview Foundation’s IRS 990 form is available for review.
