Fairview Rehab Services (FRS) provides between 20-25 CE courses yearly. FRS strives to offer a variety of courses for our healthcare providers from adult to pediatrics and many specialty areas. These courses are free of charge to all core and casual staff (casual staff must meet the casual staff working requirements). There is no limit on the number of courses staff can attend and course is filled on a first come first, first serve basis.
Our mission is to provide quality, cost effective continuing education for our increasingly complex and specialized therapy teams, while establishing a financially viable department.
The CE department serves Fairview Rehabilitation Services, the Institute of Athletic Medicine, Fairview Hand Center and Fairview Home Medical Equipment which includes PTs, OTs, Speech Pathologist, Hand Therapist, Athletic Trainers and Audiologists.
All employees in a core position can make a request to attend an external CE course (Non-FRS course). Final approval of director is required. Your director may make partial approval decisions based on their overall entity budget. Expenses along with registration for course may be requested, but again; depends on directors overall budget and determining the appropriateness of the course.Professional Dues/Memberships - Contract for Professional Dues Payment and Specialization Certification Payment
