Back-to-school health checklist: 10 doctor-approved tips to help kids stay healthy this school year

Before the backpacks are packed and lunchboxes are ready, take a few minutes to make sure your child’s health is ready for the new school year.   1. Check medications and school health forms 

If your child needs medication at school, such as an inhaler, EpiPen, or daily prescription, check that it isn't expired and complete any required school forms before classes begin.
