More than 300 Fairview and M Physicians doctors named Minnesota Monthly Top Docs 2026

More than 300 Fairview and University of Minnesota Physicians (M Physicians) doctors have earned a place on Minnesota Monthly’s 2026 Top Doctors list, a recognition of the exceptional expertise they bring to our patients every day. 

This year’s honorees represent 75 specialties, including heart care, surgery, pediatrics, transplant medicine, neurosurgery, behavioral health, and women’s health.

M Physicians is the faculty practice group for the University of Minnesota Medical School. In addition to providing patient care, these physicians help educate future clinicians and advance research and academic medicine. 

Together, Fairview and M Physicians connect that academic expertise with care in communities across the region, giving patients access to a broad range of specialty and subspecialty expertise.

How Minnesota Monthly selects Top Doctors 

Minnesota Monthly’s annual Top Doctors list is based on peer nominations. The magazine surveys thousands of physicians in the Twin Cities metro area and Olmsted County, asking which doctors they would recommend to others within each specialty. Physicians receiving the most nominations are selected for the list.
