Neurological Associates of St. Paul Joins Fairview

The group offers a full spectrum of adult and young adult neurology services.

Welcome to the family! We're excited to announce that Neurological Associates of St. Paul (NASP) recently joined the combined HealthEast and Fairview Health Services system.

NASP has a more than 30-year relationship with HealthEast, which became part of Fairview Health Services in June 2017. NASP and HealthEast providers routinely refer patients to one another, and NASP providers already practice in HealthEast’s hospitals in addition to their two clinics in Maplewood and downtown St. Paul.

Additionally, HealthEast and NASP partner on a collaborative stroke program and the Capistrant Center for Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders, located at Bethesda Hospital.

“We are building on this long-standing relationship and, in doing so, we are augmenting and expanding our existing neurology services within our health system; our collective existing and future patients will now have access to more neurology providers and services in outpatient and inpatient settings,” says Fairview’s chief medical officer Mark Welton, MD, MHCM.

About NASP

NASP, which is comprised of five physicians and 18 staff members, offers a full spectrum of adult and young adult neurology services, including general neurology, vascular neurology, movement disorders, sleep disorders and clinical neurophysiology.

"NASP has provided neurological care at HealthEast hospitals since 1986 and it was a natural fit for our practice to merge with our broader system for a better patient experience, seamless care coordination, and to lead the change for an even better model of neurological care in the Twin Cities,” says Nadeem Iqbal, MD, NASP.

We’re thrilled to welcome NASP and its members to our team!
