Candy For Troops, Books For Kids: Fairview Clinics Host Candy Exchange

Donate your extra Halloween candy to troops serving overseas, and receive a free book in return!

From Oct. 31 through Nov. 10, kids and families can donate their unopened candy to military personnel by stopping in at select Fairview clinics. In exchange, we will give a free book to each child who donates his or her candy.

Books range from picture books to chapter books, and parents and kids can choose which book they’d like to take.

Last year, the program resulted in a sweet haul—more than 1,200 pounds of candy was distributed to troops.
