Fairview Ridges Hospital Awarded for Outstanding Patient Experience

The hospital is in the top 15 percent in the nation.

Fairview Ridges Hospital Award

When a patient leaves a Fairview hospital or clinic, we want them to feel respected, valued, cared for and supported. Our nurses, doctors and staff work hard every day to make this outcome a reality.

We're proud to share that Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville recently received the national Outstanding Patient Experience Award from Healthgrades, an online resource for comprehensive information about physicians and hospitals.

The award recognizes hospitals that provide an overall outstanding patient experience—delivering a positive experience for patients during their hospital stay—as reported by patients. The winning hospitals are in the top 15 percent in the nation for overall patient experience.

“Our patients are our purpose,” says Pat Belland, president of Fairview Ridges Hospital. “We continuously strive to provide compassionate, expert-level care that we would want our own families to receive. Our Fairview Ridges team is proud to be recognized for this."

Healthgrades evaluates patient experience performance by applying a scoring methodology to 10 patient experience measures, from a 32-question survey of the hospital’s own patients.

Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital in Grand Rapids and HealthEast’s Woodwinds Health Campus in Woodbury, both part of the Fairview system, also received Outstanding Patient Experience awards.
