Fairview Northland Named One of "100 Great Community Hospitals"

Fairview Northland Medical Center has done it again. In addition to a bevy of other awards and achievements throughout 2016, Fairview Northland has been named one of the year’s “100 Great Community Hospitals” by Becker’s Hospital Review.

The hospitals on this list are spread across the country, some near major metro areas and some in rural communities. Regardless of location or affiliation, these hospitals are vital parts of their respective communities.

The Becker’s editorial team selected hospitals for inclusion based on rankings and awards hospitals have received from organizations including iVantage Health Analytics, Truven Health Analytics, Healthgrades, CareChex, the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the Leapfrog Group.

Fairview Northland Medical Center was named a Truven 100 Top Hospital in 2016 and Healthgrades also recognized the hospital with its Outstanding Patient Experience Award in 2014, 2015 and 2016.

“We are proud to be recognized among the best community hospitals in the country,” says John Herman, president, Fairview Northland Medical Center. “Bringing more services to the community to keep care close to home and providing outstanding clinical care and exceptional experience for our patients and families is what we’re all about.”

Congratulations to all the Fairview Northland doctors, nurses, residents and staff, whose dedication to our patients and families made this award possible.
