- Accepted into an accredited 2-yr or 4-yr school of nursing; will award to another candidate planning to attend career in medical field if no qualified nursing applicant submits application.
- Possess good character, dependability, and academic achievement.

Encourage recipients to apply for available RN positions after graduation and RN licensure.
