As a supervisor, Jay journeys with students in a process of finding one's own voice and authority with a view toward greater authenticity and competence in spiritual care. He draws on narrative, systems and object relations theories in creating with students a welcoming and affirming community of truth where students are free to create, wrestle and reflect, and where they are honored for who they are.
