This hands on workshop is for pregnant women and their partners who have already taken a birthing class but would like to spend more time to practice the comfort measures used for labor at a slower pace. Partners will learn how to support the laboring woman so they may both achieve a satisfying labor and birth experience. Couples taking this class should have taken a Birth & Parenting Preperation 5 week series, Birth & Parenting Preperation Express class, or have a strong knowledge of the stages of labor.
This workshop does not include a tour of the maternity unit.
