| Description:

For expectant parents in the last 3 to 4 months of pregnancy. This class will address the same topics as the Birth and Parenting Preparation class with additional time spent on postpartum and newborn topics.
This class will also include information on breastfeeding.
Topics include: challenges, joys and concerns of pregnancy, labor process, birth options, cesarean birth, medical care and decision making, breathing, relaxation and labor support techniques, care of a newborn, adjustment to your new role as parents, tour of the maternity unit.
