Certified diabetes educator (CDE) visits
How it works
A registered nurse (RN) or registered dietician (RD) provides education and information to help people with diabetes. CDE visits are available in two formats:
- Office visit – Similar to a traditional office visit with a doctor/nurse practitioner/physician assistant, but you’ll be meeting with an RN or RD.
- Classroom visit – A group of patients meeting together in a classroom setting.
