Do You Qualify For Weight-Loss Surgery?
Weight-loss surgery is for people who are unable to maintain a healthy weight through diet and exercise alone. We follow the National Institute of Health guidelines for obesity surgery. To qualify, you must have a BMI of 40 or greater or a BMI of 35 in addition to one of these conditions:
  • Type 2 diabetes
  • Obstructive sleep apnea
  • High cholesterol
  • Asthma
  • Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) - heartburn symptom
  • Osteoarthritis or degenerative joint disease
