As part of its new Lifestyle Medicine program, Fairview presents a FREE lecture series to promote healthy living. Each month a different speaker presents a topic related to self-care and health promotion. These lectures are FREE, open to all Fairview patients and the general public and are located within the Fairview Lakes Medical Center conference rooms.

Most diets tell you what to eat, how much to eat and when but few address the emotional connections between overeating and overweight. This informal discussion will explore ways to identify emotional eating and broaden our repertoire for self soothing beyond overcompensating with food.
