Fairview Northland Medical Center offers a full-service radiology department that is available when you need it. Most services, including general radiology, CT and MRI, are available to hospital and emergency patients around the clock.
Mammography
Mammograms are such an important too to find breast cancer early, when it's most treatable, that we offer mammograms daily, and often have same day appointments available. You do not need a referral from your doctor to schedule a screening mammogram. If you need a diagnostic mammogram, you do need a referral from your doctor. We know waiting for results can be stressful, so diagnostic mammograms are read immediately; screening mammograms results are available in a few days.
