Pregnancy is our specialty

We understand pregnancy and everything that comes with it, from nausea and fatigue to the rollercoaster of emotions and endless questions.

Our team of trusted doctors is here to help. We’ll put you at ease and provide you with expert care that’s based on years of experience in welcoming babies. We’ll be with you every step of the way, from the first time you hear your baby’s heartbeat to that very first newborn cry.

Meet our providers
From planning to start a family, including fertility challenges, to prenantal care, labor and delivery, our team has the expertise, experience and compassion you want for you and your baby.

Our care team includes providers who specialize in family medicine and obstetrics. This means they’re uniquely trained to provide all the care you and your entire family needs, including caring for your newborn. Our team includes doctors who help women with high risk pregnancies, support those who wish to have a VBAC delivery and when necessary, can perform C-sections as well.

We have physicians who focus on pregnancy at each of these locations:
The Birthplace
The Birthplace at Fairview Northland Medical Center is honored to introduce you to your baby. Our providers and nurses work together to give patients a seamless birth experience, a partnership that won us the 2016 Women’s Choice Award for America’s Best Hospital for Obstetrics. We’ll help you create a unique birth plan, then support you throughout the entire birth process. We deliver hundreds of babies each year, so you can rest easy knowing that we have the experience needed to handle all types of delivery situations.

We’re also a designated Baby-Friendly Hospital, which means we provide new mothers with the information and skills needed to successfully breastfeed their baby. Our birthing and breastfeeding classes are free, giving you a confident start on your parenting journey. Learn more about the amenities at The Birthplace and schedule a tour.
