Chest Pain Evaluation

Patients with acute chest pain can be evaluated quickly and accurately at the Chest Pain Center located at University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview. Experienced cardiologists and nurses see patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week in the Emergency Department. Once diagnosed, patients can be referred for immediate care or clinical consultations. Patients and physicians can call 612-365-5000, or toll free 877-650-1555 any time, day or night. A cardiac nurse at the Chest Pain Center can tell you if you need 911 help or should come into the Emergency Department (University campus). If your condition is not urgent the nurse will schedule an appointment at the clinic for the next business day.
