Retail Services

Select Fairview hospitals and medical centers offer retail services for babies and new moms. Services may include massage and post-natal body therapy, photography, Fairview Pharmacies, home medical equipment and more. Options vary depending at which hospital you deliver your baby.

Postnatal Body Therapy by Bavia Baby
Gentle massage, heat and guided relaxation work to improve sleep, decrease aches and pains common after childbirth, reduce water retention and decrease anxiety. Services take place in the comfort and privacy of your hospital room turned "spa-spital" room with low lighting, aromatherapy and soothing music. For maximum benefits, schedule the night after natural delivery or the second night after a c-section. Out of respect for various religious and cultural traditions, services are happily modified upon request. Call by 4:30 p.m. for a same-night appointment.

Your baby's portraits are taken in your hospital room by a professional photographer. You will view your proofs in your room shortly after your session and have the option to purchase the digital images. Your selected images are burned to a CD, which you receive immediately, so you can print as many of your baby’s portraits as you’d like, in whatever size and quantity you need. All customers who purchase a photo package are, at the request of the customer, granted access to a password-protected online gallery for sharing their images. In that gallery is a link to a slide show, which is set to music and serves as a great online birth announcement.

Fairview Pharmacy
Fairview Pharmacies offer many supplies new moms and babies may need including breast pumps and accessories. With over 30 locations, Fairview Pharmacies have a location close to you. Mail order pharmacy and same-day delivery within five miles of a pharmacy (for a nominal fee) is also available.

Fairview Home Medical Equipment
Fairview Home Medical Equipment lets you rent or buy medical machines needed following your hospital stay. Breast pumps and more are available from any of our three retail stores in Burnsville, Minneapolis and St. Paul or by home delivery.
