Compulsive gambling services

When gambling becomes an addiction, Behavioral Health Services can help. As experts in addiction issues, our highly qualified professionals help you understand and overcome the pull of gambling addiction and lead a more peaceful, balanced life.

The Compulsive Gambling Program meets four evenings per week for six weeks. Participants meet with counselors one-to-one, talk with other gamblers in group therapy, attend lectures and view films. The concurrent family program enables family members to receive helpful information, as well as counseling, during the six-week program.

Our staff members are specially trained to help compulsive gamblers and their families. They include primary counselors, family counselors and aftercare counselors.

Our aftercare program, which begins immediately following primary treatment, helps to ensure the success of stopping the gambling habit. It includes Phase II Groups, which meet bi-weekly and are led by a specialized gambling counselor and Growth Groups which meet weekly and are designed to help with the process of recovery

If you would like more information or a free (no-obligation) screening, please call our 24-hour phone line at 612-672-2736.
