Fairview Recovery Services offers inpatient and outpatient treatment options to help you recover from chemical addiction and live a fuller life. Depending on your situation, you’ll receive screening assessments, medically supervised detoxification, inpatient and outpatient evaluation and referral, combined inpatient to outpatient treatment sequences, family counseling and aftercare. Your individualized program will be designed to meet all of your needs—physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual.
Inpatient programs

Detoxification and Medical Stabilization
Detoxification and medical stabilization include physician-supervised withdrawal from mood-altering chemicals, as well as nursing and a psychological assessment, physical exam and psychosocial interview with a trained evaluation counselor. Many clients transfer to LodgingPlus or outpatient following detoxification. Others will be referred to programs in the community that meet their individual needs.

Dual-Disorder Program
Patients in this program receive a primary chemical dependency diagnosis and a mental health diagnosis. The goal is to address and stabilize both issues at the same time. Patients will receive nursing and medical care, chemical dependency services and psychotherapy.

Outpatient programs

Phase I/Treatment
Treatment is designed to help outpatients understand the negative effects of chemicals on their lives and relationships. We help you build a positive self-image and develop coping skills necessary for recovery and ongoing abstinence. The program provides group therapy, individual counseling, educational workshops and relationship groups. Gender-specific treatment groups are available.

Day Outpatient
Clients participate three to four days a week, two hours a day for 20 sessions.

Evening Outpatient
Clients participate two to four times a week, two hours per evening for 20 sessions.

Seniors Outpatient
Clients participate two days a week, two hours a day for 20 sessions.

Concerned Persons Program
Concerned persons groups, which overlap phases I and II, are offered once a week for 10 to 12 weeks. Family sessions involving clients are scheduled during phases I and II.

Phase II/Recovery Management
Sustaining recovery is a life-long process. The individualized aftercare plan includes weekly group therapy sessions with a primary treatment counselor. Aftercare meets weekly for 12 weeks. Regular attendance at an abstinence support group is strongly encouraged. Referrals are made to community resources as necessary.

Phase III/Growth Group
Growth Group is an ongoing, weekly support group run by alumni facilitators. It’s designed to offer continued support during recovery. Growth Group is free and open to those who have completed Phase II.

Alumni Association
The Alumni Association is available to patients and their families, who have participated in the chemical dependency program. The association offers support for those leaving treatment as well as throughout recovery. It also provides the opportunities for social events, trips and other activities related to recovery.
