Specialized training

Podiatric surgeons complete a four-year undergraduate degree and four years of podiatric medical college resulting in a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree. In addition, podiatric surgeons complete a three-year surgical residency with an emphasis on elective and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle, including arthroscopy and diabetic limb salvage. Our podiatric surgeons are up-to-date on the latest procedures and trends in foot and ankle surgery, and work closely with primary care providers to ensure the best possible care.
