Dr. Gretchen Phillips is a family medicine physician with Fairview Lakes Medical Center in Wyoming and a member of Fairview Physician Associates. A native of Madison, Wis., Dr. Phillips has a varied health care background having put herself through college as a paramedic. She served as chief resident of the University of Florida's Department of Community Health and Family Medicine. As a general medical officer in the U.S. Navy, Dr. Phillips cared for members of the military, their dependents and retirees. For her accomplishments there, Dr. Phillips received a letter of commendation from the Chief of Naval Operations and the Navy Achievement Medal. She also speaks fluent French.
