Fairview Pharmacy offers free blood pressure checks. It is important to have your blood pressure checked regularly and take your medications as prescribed.
Why is it important to lower blood pressure?
High blood pressure, also known as hypertension, usually has no physical symptoms. High blood pressure can, over time, cause complications in your health such as stroke, heart attack, heart failure, blindness and kidney problems.
How can my pharmacist help me to achieve my blood pressure goal?
Our certified pharmacists will check your blood pressure and discuss your blood pressure medications with you. If you participate in the Blood Pressure Goals Achievement Program, we work with your Fairview provider to help you to achieve your blood pressure goals by following up regularly. We're committed to keeping you healthy while providing you convenience and affordable health and wellness solutions to fit your lifestyle.
What is the Blood Pressure Goals Achievement Program?
Fairview pharmacists work with Fairview Clinic patients and providers to achieve blood pressure goals by monitoring blood pressure regularly. Currently 79% of participants in the Blood Pressure Goals Achievement Program have a blood pressure less than 140/90.
