News and events
Since opening its doors in 1984, this 150,000 square-foot space increase is the hospital’s single largest expansion.
The building will feature an observation unit and new laboratory, while the medical building will include cardiology, oncology and musculoskeletal care. It’ll also contain an ambulatory surgery center, an imaging center, cardiac rehabilitation, a retail pharmacy and a durable medical equipment store. Additionally, specialty space will be available for lease by medical professionals.
“This project has been in the planning stage for several years,” says Beth Krehbiel, hospital president. “The expansion will allow us to enhance our outpatient specialty services and adapt to an aging patient population that has evolving health care concerns.”
Preliminary work is underway and project completion is expected in 2014.
