At Fairview Ridges Hospital, we're committed to ensuring effective communication between patients and their medical providers by providing qualified interpretation services for all patients. If you or someone you care for is in need of medical services, you have the right to a free medical interpreter. We provide medical interpreters free of charge for limited English proficiency and deaf or hard-of-hearing patients.
Requesting an interpreter
Patients or family members can request interpreters 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week. Hospital staff and providers may call for telephone interpretation or request in-person interpreters by calling 612-273-3780, option 2. In-person interpreters are provided for more than 10 languages and dialects and telephone interpreters are available for over 150 languages.
