Hospice is a nurturing choice for those no longer wishing to seek curative treatment when life expectancy is limited. It is a nurturing choice for those who no longer wish to pursue aggressive treatment. Our caring hospice team helps manage symptoms and pain and focuses on giving you the powere to live your life with dignity--remaining as alert and pain-free as possible.

Your hospice team includes you and your family, nurses, social workers, physicians, spiritual care support, volunteers, hospice aides, grief support and additional services to enhance comfort. Hospice care is provided wherever you are living, whether it is a private residence, skilled nursing home, assisted living facility or apartment. Hospice care is provided wherever you call home: including apartment, assisted living, skilled nursing home, group home or your private residence.

Hospice care costs
Hospice costs are covered by Medicare Hospice Benefit, Medical Assistance and most private insurance plans. This benefit also covers hospice medications and any equipment you may need. No one is ever refused hospice services because of inability to pay. Our social workers are a resource to help with financial concerns.

Spiritual care support
Hospice chaplaincy provides specially trained chaplains who are there to provide spiritual care and support for your loved one. Our chaplaincy team:
  • Provides ecumenical/interfaith spiritual care
  • Offers support while respecting and individual's culture and beliefs
  • Works with your nurses, doctors and social workers
  • Collaborates with your interdisciplinary team
  • Offers understanding, hope and reassurance
  • Provides objective crisis intervention
