Fairview hospitals accept most major insurance plans. Your insurance copy and co-insurance are collected at the time of service. Bring a photo ID (driver’s license, passport, state or military ID are acceptable) and your insurance card with you to the Emergency Department if possible.

There are times you need Urgent Care at Fairview Red Wing Medical Center.
Our physicians see adults and children who have sore throats, rashes, coughs or cuts. Urgent Care has laboratory and X-ray services. If you need more advanced care, the emergency department with its specially trained physicians is just through the next door.
Hours of service
Monday-Friday: noon – 8 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: 9 a.m. – 3pm
No appointment necessary.
Not open on holidays.
Urgent Care patients generally are cared for on a first-come, first-served basis without an appointment. We do what we can to see you as quickly as possible, but the number of people and the seriousness of their problems can influence your wait.
If you are having a heart attack or medical emergency, don’t wait, call 911.
