Michael Tiffany, DO adds new services to Fairview Red Wing OB/GYN team
Welcome Michael Tiffany, DO to Fairview Red Wing Medical Center OB/GYN team. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa, he completed his internship at the University of California-Davis in Sacramento and his residency in OB/GYN at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
His special interests include urogynecology, minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery, aesthetic office procedures, high risk obstetrics and infertility.
“When patients ask me what I enjoy about my job, my response is ‘everything’”, says Dr. Tiffany. “A close relationship with patients is crucial to providing the best care possible. This includes listening, understanding and developing a treatment plan together. I strongly believe in a team approach to patient care, which includes everyone from the time the patient walks through our doors until they leave satisfied.”
Go Red for Women's Heart Health
February is American Heart Month, a month designed to raise awareness of heart disease, risk factors, warning signs and building a healthy lifestyle to lessen the threat of heart disease. Fairview Red Wing is teaming up with the Red Wing Republican Eagle, the Red Wing Chamber of Commerce and the Red Wing YMCA to help spread the information about heart disease and to get our community on a healthy track.
To raise awareness of American Heart Month, we encourage businesses large and small to participate in Go Red For Women Day on Friday, February 3. Cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death in women—surpassing all cancers. Help the women in your organization understand their risks and help raise awareness in the community. To learn more about the risks of heart disease and what you can do to reduce your risk of cardiac disease.
