Fairview Auxiliary has supported Fairview's hospitals and services with funding for charity care, health education, mental health and women and children's health services since 1906. The Fairview Auxiliary's mission is to enhance the lives of patients, their families and Fairview employees. We commit our skills and resources to benefit the whole person by supporting exceptional health care while addressing the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of patients and their families. We support programs and services that benefit patients at Fairview Southdale Hospital, Fairview Ridges Hospital, and University of Minnesota Medical Center - West bank campus.
As a member of the Fairview Auxiliary, you join a network of mentors, community leaders and peers dedicated to patients’ needs. Our membership represents a cross-section of people who live and work in the communities we serve.

Although the Auxiliary exists to help others, members receive a number of benefits, including the opportunity to:

Make a Difference
Make a difference in the lives of the people you serve. With funds raised primarily from our three gift shops and special in-house sales, we have provided financial support for:
- Hospice and Home Care
- Youth grief services
- Employee and volunteer scholarships
- Educational health literature
- Music therapy
- Neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) bereavement projects
- Domestic abuse services
- Recreation programs
- Many other worthwhile Fairview programs and services.
