Hospice is a special kind of caring;
It's about how you live
When is hospice appropriate?
Hospice services are usually provided when life expectancy is limited. Hospice is right for individuals who want to focus on the quality, not quantity, of their days.
Services we provide
The goal of hospice is to reduce pain and discomfort while offering guidance and support to you and your family. We add to the loving care your family provides in a variety of ways:
• Regular visits from registered nurses with advanced training in pain control and symptom management
• On-call nurses available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
• Home health aides to assist with bathing and other personal care needs
• Medications, medical supplies and equipment needed at home
• Social workers to provide supportive counseling and other assistance
• Visits from chaplains respectful of your family’s faith and belief system
• Trained hospice volunteers who provide a comforting presence for you or your family
• In a medical crisis, around-the-clock nursing care at home or short-term hospitalization
• Thirteen-month bereavement support for your family members and loved ones
• Support for the entire family
