Little bodies. Big feelings.

Of course, children visit the doctor when they’re sick—but yearly well-child checks are equally important to keep them healthy and active. Besides, it’s fun to see how much your child has grown and matured since his or her last visit!

Regardless of the reason that brings you and your child in for a clinic visit, the caring pediatricians and family medicine doctors at more than 40 Fairview Clinics and independent, affiliated clinics across the metro will make sure that your child's health and development is on track.

Our clinic staff cares for newborns, children, teens and young adults. In addition to offering well-child exams, routine vaccinations, flu shots, and school and sports physicals, we can help manage chronic diseases such as asthma, allergies and diabetes. And when necessary, our providers will partner with pediatric specialists across Fairview, including specialty pediatric clinics and University of Minnesota Amplatz Children’s Hospital.

When should you schedule your child’s well-child visits? Typically, around the following milestones:
  • 3 to 5 days
  • 1, 2, 4, 6 and 9 month(s)
  • 12, 15, 18, 24 and 30 months
  • 3 years
  • Annually thereafter

We treat a range of illnesses and conditions, including (but not limited to):
  • Asthma and allergies
  • Bacterial and viral illnesses
  • Broken bones and orthopedic conditions
  • Colds and flu
  • Diabetes
  • Sports injuries
  • Vomiting and stomach problems

Your child matters the most—let’s work together to ensure he or she has an active, healthy childhood!
