Mark A. Eustis is responsible for moving Fairview toward achieving our mission of meeting the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of our patients and their families, and improving the health of the communities we serve. He focuses us on realizing our vision of being the best health care delivery system in America.
Eustis joined Fairview in August 2007 from Ascension Health in St. Louis, Mo., where he was president of Regional Ministry Operations, overseeing hospitals and related health care services in multiple markets across the country.
Prior to that he served Barnes Jewish Christian (BJC) HealthCare as senior executive officer and was an adjunct faculty member at Washington University in St. Louis, where he integrated real-life experiences into the Case Studies in Health Administration course.
He also served in roles of increasing responsibility at Detroit Medical Center and St. John Health in Detroit, Mich.
A native of Minnesota, Eustis graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's in Hospital and Health Care Administration from the University of Minnesota. He has been active in national and local health care-related organizations, including the American Hospital Association and Mid-America Transplant Services. In addition, Eustis has worked with community groups, including American Heart Association, United Way of Greater St. Louis and Boy Scouts of America.
