Medical Missions

If you would like to make a credit card donation, you can use our online form, or call us at
612-672-7777.

100% of your gift goes directly to Fairview programs and services.

Each year, hundreds of Fairview clinicians, staff and retired staff participate in the Medical Missions program- bringing their skills and compassion to people throughout the world. Participants help meet the medical needs of underserved populations in more than 40 countries, mostly in Central America, Africa and Southeast Asia. Generous gifts allow the Fairview Foundation to help cover the costs for many of these participants. Fairview employees, retired employees, volunteers and Physician Associates (FPA) members are eligible to participate in the program.

“I'm not sure who received the greater blessing, the people of Haiti or me. I got back so much more than I could have imagined.”Joy A Panacopoulos, RN,  Haiti

”I take home the feeling of success and feel rewarded in helping poor children get the surgery they needed and giving them a life of normalcy. I used my knowledge and skills professionally and contributed my talents to assist the team in success.” - Tanya Verlishek-Vzaguirre, RN, Lima, Peru
