Chiropractor Richard Branson earned his Doctor of Chiropractic in 1991 from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Ore. Since that time his wide-ranging experience includes private practice, serving as a staff clinician at the Institute for Athletic Medicine and as assistant professor of research at the Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, Minn.
Today he is director of chiropractic services at Fairview Health Services, a position he’s held for the last seven years and is chief chiropractic consultant for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota. He also consults with Saint Paul-based Health Service and McKesson Corporation, where he assists in creating and updating evidence-based treatment criteria for chiropractic care.
