Chiropractor Richard Branson cares for patients of all ages at Fairview Sports and Orthopedic Care - Burnsville and at the Institute for Athletic Medicine - Eden Prairie. In addition to patient care, Dr. Branson serves as director of chiropractic services for Fairview Health Services and was founding director of the program eleven years ago.

He is chief chiropractic consultant for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota and also consults for several other local and national payers. Dr. Branson has published considerable research on treatment outcomes and guidelines and provides peer review for several journals.

Dr. Branson has experience caring for patients in private practice, as a staff clinician with the Institute for Athletic Medicine and as assistant professor of research at the Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, Minn.

He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic in 1991 from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Ore. and is board-certified in medical acupuncture.
