Minneapolis community health (Seward and Cedar-Riverside communities)

Community Health Outreach at University of Minnesota Medical Center collaborates with faith-based institutions, local community organizations and agencies serving low income and immigrant communities. Our coordinators offer their time and resources to strengthen the community - promoting health and well-being, preventing disease and improving overall quality of life.

We identify opportunities for collaboration and develop programs and interventions that specifically address identified needs in the areas of:

  • Behavioral health
  • Child/adolescent health
  • Heart health
  • Nutrition
  • Women's health

We also provide leadership, technical assistance and actively participate in internal and external committees and professional organizations.
