What is a Walk-in Clinic?
A convenient health care alternative available when your pain or illness can’t wait. We have daytime, evening and weekend hours, no appointment needed. Our physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners see adults and children. The Walk-in Clinic at Fairview Maple Grove Medical Center is equipped with laboratory and X-ray services.

The Walk-in Clinic is not a substitute for emergency care. Call 911 or visit a hospital emergency department for very serious or life-threatening problems such as a chest pain, difficulty breathing, shortness of breath, sudden blurred vision or serve abdominal pain. Seek emergency help immediately.

How long will you have to wait?

The Walk-in Clinic patients generally receive care on a first-come, first-served basis without an appointment. Every attempt is made to see you as quickly as possible, although the number of people and the seriousness of their conditions can influence your wait.

What happens after you leave the Walk-in Clinic?
A complete record of your visit and treatment at the Walk-in Clinic may be requested by your provider, who can provide any necessary follow-up care. We’ll also let you know if there are any recommended follow-up procedures and whether there are lab results or X-rays that require attention.

What forms of insurance and payment is accepted?
The Walk-in Clinic accepts most health plans, cash, personal checks, Visa‚ and MasterCard.
