Committed to your health and the health of our community
Community hospitals and clinics in Chisago Lakes, Forest Lake and Rush City joined with Fairview to create Fairview Lakes Health Services, which opened Fairview Lakes Medical Center in February 1998 near Interstate 35 in Wyoming. Fairview Lakes Medical Center is a full-service, 24-hour patient care facility in Wyoming, Minn. Today Fairview Lakes Health Services is the health care provider of choice in this part of Minnesota.

We’ve added hospital beds, clinics and doctors to better meet your needs and improve access to care. In 2005, Fairview Lakes received the Premier Award for Quality for its work in heart failure and community acquired pneumonia. In 2006, Fairview Lakes Medical Center was recognized for the second time as a national winner of this prestigious honor in the areas of acute myocardial infarction (heart attack) and heart failure. Selected from an eligible pool of 400 hospitals, Fairview Lakes Medical Center was one of only seven facilities across the nation to receive awards in more than one of the Premier quality categories.

"The Premier Award for Quality honors clinical excellence in both quality of clinical care and operational efficiency," says Dan Anderson, president of Fairview Lakes Health Services. "The award defines its winners as industry leaders that deliver outstanding patient care while reducing the cost of health care through effective use of resources."

Meeting your health care needs…
As part of Fairview Health Services, we continuously work to enhance the care we provide to you and your family. In 2007 we will complete a $29 million construction project that will make it simpler, more convenient and more comfortable for patients to access emergency, diagnostic imaging and surgical services. The finished project will add more than 68,544 square feet to the current 177,000 square foot structure and remodel another 47,770 square feet, all designed to meet the community’s needs for the next five to seven years. Financing for the $29 million project will be entirely paid by Fairview without reliance on public dollars.

The current expansion project is our third in less than eight years. Fairview Lakes Medical Center opened in February 1998 and was expanded in 2001. A new medical office building and radiation therapy center were connected to the medical center building in 2004, the same year that an assisted living facility opened on the Fairview Lakes campus.

Here to serve you …
Our 1,300 employees—many of them your friends and neighbors—are here to partner with you to meet your family’s health care needs.
