Convenient On-Site Services
As part of Fairview Health Services, Fairview Riverside Women's Clinic will coordinate a complete spectrum of services as you need them, including interpreters and auxiliary aides. Office visits, lab tests and X-rays are scheduled by appointment. Clinic services include: 

• Well-woman care, teens to the mature woman

• Preconception counseling

• Access to certified nurse-midwives (CNMs)

After-Hours and Emergency Care
The clinic telephone is answered 24 hours a day, every day. A message will be relayed to our on-call doctor or certified nurse-midwives, who will return the call and answer your questions. You may be directed to the nearest after-hours facility, as listed below.

Fairview Urgent Care
When your pain or illness can't wait, Fairview Urgent Care is available. Physicians and certified nurse-midwives see adults and children who have a variety of problems, including sore throats, rashes, earaches, upper respiratory infections, cuts, sprains, minor injuries and more.

If You Need to Be Hospitalized
Our physicians and certified nurse-midwives see their patients at University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview on the Riverside campus in Minneapolis.

If You Have Questions About Your Care
We invite you to call our clinic at 612-672-2900 during regular clinic hours when you have questions about your health or medical care. A nurse will answer your questions or consult with your physician or certified nurse-midwife and return your call.

Fairview Pharmacy Services
Fairview pharmacists work closely with your physician to help you understand everything you need to know about medications. Call 612-672-7274 for pharmacy locations, store hours and mail-order services.

When You Need to See a Specialist
If you should require a referral for specialty care outside our clinic, your primary physician or certified nurse-midwife will work with your specialist and monitor your care.

Patient Rights and Responsibilities
Complete, confidential medical information is one of the many patient rights detailed in our booklet "Your Rights and Responsibilities: A Patient Guide." A copy is available upon request.

If You Have Questions About Billing or Insurance
Fairview Riverside Women's Clinic is a participating provider for most local health plans and major insurance companies. For specific information about your benefit coverages, call your health plan or the employee benefits department at your workplace.
