Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) Financial Aid: Sponsorship and Scholarships
Students seeking financial aid are advised to check with their respective college/university. The Laboratory Services area of Fairview Health Services does offer a select number of sponsorships each year. Students apply for the sponsorship, go through an interview process and are selected by a committee composed of Fairview Talent Acquisition and Fairview Laboratory Managers. Selected applicants will be provided $7,500 and must agree to work for Fairview Laboratory Services for two years following completion of the program.
Scholarships are available through the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS) MN organization, American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) , ASCLS Education and Research Fund, and ASCLS/Alpha Mu Tau. The first scholarship is limited to students in Minnesota program while the last three scholarships are nationally competitive.
