Outcome Measures
Since the initial graduating class in 2005, the Fairview Health Services Medical Laboratory Science Program has graduated eight classes. Every graduate is board certified with a 95 percent "first time" pass rate. The last five classes have a 100 percent "first time" pass rate. Credit goes to the program, faculty and students.
Every graduate of the Fairview program secured employment prior to or shortly after graduation. Results of the clinical laboratory employers' surveys rate the graduates above expectations in entry level knowledge, working skills and personal skills. One graduate has since received a doctorate, seven graduates are in supervisory positions and one is teaching in a MLT program.
Each student in the program must conduct an independent research project that requires a proposal, conducting research, presenting the proposal and preparing a written report. View our alumni section for a list of projects, by class.
