Farm to Fairview

Think global, eat local    

Farm to Fairview is back this summer in our seventh season, bringing fresh, local produce and flowers from the farm to your work site.

Our markets feature Twin Cities-area vendors who live and grow locally, selling everything from berries to sweet corn to tomatoes and squash. Check out Farm to Fairview at a location near you. All markets open the week of July 5:

•Fairview Southdale Hospital, Tuesdays, noon-4 p.m., near the Power Plant
•400 Stinson Building, Thursdays, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., on the back loading dock
•University of Minnesota Medical Center – West Bank, Fridays, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., front plaza, near the BBQ
•University of Minnesota Medical Center – East Bank, Fridays, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Diehl Plaza, near the BBQ
•NEW this year: Fairview Northland Medical Center, Special Event Markets in partnership with the Princeton-Zimmerman Farmers Market Association. Market will be held outside the cafeteria in the back parking lot and will be held on the following Wednesdays, from 2:30-5:30pm: June 29th, July 27th, August 31st.
•New this year! Fairview Lakes Medical Center is partnering with the Wyoming Farmers Market! We are partnering with the Wyoming Farmers Market to promote healthy, fresh food in our community.
-On Thursdays from 3pm-7pm, from June – October, you can get fresh, local produce, eggs, maple syrup, jams, granola and more! The Wyoming Farmers Market is located at Grace Church, (the corner of Forest Blvd. and Viking Blvd.) - just 1 mile from Fairview Lakes Medical Center! Check out our special events section to learn how to earn free farmers market bucks!

Just let the cafeteria cashier know you donated an item and you will receive your token. Limit three tokens per person.

July 27Fairview Northland Farmers MarketIn partnership with Fairview Community Health, we will be hosting a kids bike helmet fitting and $5 bike helmet sale! Purchase a low cost bike helmet for your child and have it fit for their needs. Assistance is available for those who need it for the cost of the helmet.

From field to fork and garden to kitchen table, the market offers produce and flowers freshly picked and sold by the grower to you. Most of our vendors have organic growing practices, and some are certified organic.
The markets are part of our wellness and sustainability efforts at Fairview. Remember, when you shop at the market, bring a reusable bag to tote your market goods and small bills to pay with cash.
